The Effect of Medical Information Related Usability on Intention of Reuse and Recommendation - Focusing on College Students

Abstract
This study surveyed whether people have an intention to reuse or recommend medical information on web application because utilization value of medical information may vary depending on purposes of using medical information on web site and various behaviors and habits. This study analyzed effects of medical information related usability on people"s intention of reuse and recommendation. This study found that people reuse web application which has high usability and utilization value. Those who were surveyed said that they have an intention to recommend medical information related web application which they think is reliable to other people. Proposals of this study for improving medical information which is shared via web application are as follows.
First, it is necessary to prepare a standard or legal system that can prevent wrong medical information for marketing medical equipment or food from being posted, select medical information by applying qualitative assessment. Second, it is necessary to develop medical information contents which is helpful in improving health of young people and provide medical information which helps people recognize the need of managing health.
